Citizens of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam can apply online for an R.O.C. (Taiwan) Travel Authorization Certificate(TAC) from the National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior.
Nationals of these countries intending to submit an online application for such a certificate should carefully read the following before proceeding to the next step.
To be eligible for TAC, all of the following basic requirements must be met:
- The applicant’s passport must have remaining validity of at least six months starting from the date of arrival in Taiwan.
- The applicant must possess an onward/return air or ferry ticket.
- The applicant has never been employed as a migrant worker in Taiwan.
- The applicant has no record of violations of immigration irregularities or law in Taiwan.

E-VISA
If you apply for the E-VISA, you will get a following instruction below by e-mail around August or September once we receive the Code from Bureau of Consular Affairs:
- Code: OOOO-XXXXX
- Initial Date: 2025/OO/OO
- Date of Expiry: 2025/OO/OO (NB: Please apply your Evisa before this date of expiry.)
- Please go to https://visawebapp.boca.gov.tw to apply for the Evisa and pay the visa fee by credit card.

- If the applicant's full name consists of only a single name, "Surname," or "First Name," please fill in at least one of the fields; the other field could be blank. Samples of names are available for reference next to the blank when the applicant fills out the eVISA online form.
- The purpose of visiting: Participation to 28th Asia-Pacific Scout Conference in Taiwan
- Please use a MasterCard, Visa, or JCB credit card that supports 3D authentication and is available for global transactions when making online payments.
